My name is Kelly Albrecht and I am the Language Acquisition Program teacher. I have been working for the Kenosha Unified School District for 16 years in every grade from KG to 5th including a two year position as an interventionist. Before moving to Wisconsin I taught in Texas, Ohio, and New York. New York University is where I received my undergraduate degree in Education. After moving to Wisconsin I trained and was certified in Reading Recovery, as a Reading specialist, and English as a Second Language at Carthage College.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling to different destinations. I spend as much time as I can with my family. I love reading, having coffee with friends and learning new things.
My joy is helping students find their strengths and interests. My goal is to make a difference and my motto is one day at a time.
